This is an individual assignment.

In this assignment, you will create your personal draft of the project plan for a virtual meeting. This plan should be created from the point of view of a manager with a team responsible for the completion of a virtual project. The focus of the project is the project topic your team chose in VR: Choose a Topic. 

This project will involve working with geographically disparate personnel (your teammates). Your project plan will detail how the project will be completed, which tools will be used in which phases of the project, and who will be responsible for what deliverables. At this stage you will not be assigning tasks to specific team members; you will be analyzing the project to determine and isolate tasks, a timeline, deliverables, and an outline of the final retreat/meeting.

1.     Read the following guidelines for the virtual meeting project plan. You may choose a different layout and format for the project plan, but the plan should address all of the needs provided in the guidelines document.

2.     Imagine that you are the manager of your team. Referring to the guidelines for the virtual meeting project plan, create a draft of the project plan for your team's project. Do not assign names to tasks at this point; use letters or numbers to indicate how you would divide up the work between the team members.

Project Plan 100 points

·         Project plan includes all of the relevant tasks, assigns resources, and a time line for the virtual meeting: 50 points

·         Plan is realistic and utilizes resources equally: 20 points

·         Plan is professionally presented (no spelling errors, no typographical errors) is in a format appropriate for the content: 10 points

·         Plan identifies at least 4 tools to be used in the planning and/or facilitation of the virtual retreat/meeting. The tools chosen are appropriate for the function performed: 20 points
