Or, perhaps you have purchased jewelry that was supposedly designer brand for super cheap only to learn that it wasn't really the designer brand it purported to be. Pseudoscience is like that. Its proponents attempt to pass off ideas, products, processes, etc., as legitimate when in reality they are phonies.

2. In a Microsoft Word document, write about the following:
1. Define "pseudoscience" simply and in your own words. For this part, it may help to act like you are explaining it to "your niece or nephew in high school"—not "dumbed down," just clear, direct, and in your own words. In your explanation, contrast pseudoscience with science.
2. Identify two examples of pseudoscience. Explain why you classify your examples as pseudoscience.
3. Explain the implications of the examples of pseudoscience you have given. Is it really a problem for people to believe in those phenomena (the incidents of pseudoscience that you identified)? Why or why not?
