- What is the difference between the null and the alternative hypothesis? Provide an example.
- Explain Type 1 and II error. Provide an Example.

- Explain the T-Test for a Mean. Hint: page 425
- Explain the Chi-Test for a Variance or Standard Deviation. provide an example. Hint: page 443
The link attached to the discussion will help you to understand the difference between the null and alternative hypothesis.
(12)Z-Test for a Mean.
Explain the Z-Test for a Mean:
The Z test is the statistical test for the mean of the population. It is used when n >_30, or when the population is normally distributed and o` is known. The Z test is used to determine the two populations means are different when we know the variance. It is the observed value of the sample mean. The population mmeansis the expected value. It is also known as a hypothesis test. I have a difficult time with the z test. I struggle with the formula and how to solve it to make sure it is correct.
