Instructions

Within the context of one of the two Business Plan case studies below, take on the role of an investor. Determine if you would make an investment in the chosen company by analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of their proposed Business Plan. Incorporate the Sahlman article “How to Write a Great Business Plan” as you complete the assignment.

Choose only one Business Plan from the two options below:

Ø Hotel Vertu: Analyzing the Opportunity in the Boutique Hotel Industry

OR

Ø Lovepop: Pop-up Greeting Cards

For this assignment, write a 5 to 7 page paper, in which you do the following for your chosen case:

1. Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the “people” factor

2. Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the “opportunity” factor

3. Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the “context” factor

4. Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the “risk and reward” factor
