Case Study 3: "To Market, To Market: An Independent Luxury Hotel- Battle for Position"
Read the case study titled, "To Market, To Market: An Independent Luxury Hotel- Battle for Position", located in Casepack HTM 520: Strategic Planning in Hospitality and Tourism.
Write a two to three (2-3) page paper in which you:
1. Examine two (2) of the main challenges that Nassauer Hof Hotel faces as an independent hotel operator competing against larger, established hotel chains. Propose two (2) actions that Nassauer Hof Hotel can take in order to address these challenges. Provide a rationale for your response.
2. Suggest two (2) operational advantages that Nassauer Hof Hotel can leverage in serving its customer base that the larger hotel organizations cannot. Justify your response.
3. Predict two (2) future opportunities that may exist for the Nassauer Hof Hotel to expand its operations within the lodging sector. Provide a rationale for your response.
