For this discussion you need to identify one nursing theory and one borrowed theory that you have learned about this semester and discuss the following:
Research articles- one for each theory- that was a study focused on either nursing practice, nursing education or nursing administration. Discuss how the theory was used in the studies -specifically describe the following:
• was the theory being tested or used to support the study?
• were the assumptions and concepts of the theory clearly described?
• how were the concepts conceptually and operationally defined?
• do you feel the theory was appropriate for use in the study? why or why not?
• what were the findings of the study and were these findings congruent with the assumptions of the theory?
• be sure to give the references for the studies at the bottom of your post using correct APA format
