Complete and submit a written report in the style of a case report about a company’s global strategy. It should be a structured, theoretically sound piece of individual work aimed at evaluating the global strategies of your chosen company. Marking rubric and criteria are provided as a separate file. The choice of company is part of the assignment. It requires you to do some research to make an effective choice. We recommend that you choose a company in a sector in which you are interested, and one where you can get appropriate information. Excessive DESCRIPTION is to be avoided. You won’t get many marks for copying chunks out of articles or ‘telling the story of the company’. Some description is obviously necessary but don’t let it take over the assignment – the key issue is RELEVANCE. Critical analysis, application of theoretical models and appropriate conclusions are more important and are where you get marks. On the other hand, it is a bad idea to allude to issues without explaining them and how they affect the company.
