Part 1
Directions: Using your review sheet and textbook, select one option and type your answer (times new roman style, 12 point font, and double spaced) within 3 to 4 paragraphs.
Option 1: From our class lectures, we learned that bipedalism and environmental adaptability played a major role in the evolution of Modern Humans. Describe the advantages of bipedalism in detail. Also describe the environmental adaptations that allowed modern humans to live in two different environments.
Option 2: From our class lectures, we learned population increases transformed villages to towns, and towns to cities. The shift from cities to kingdoms is more complex. Describe the shift from cities to kingdoms. Be sure to include the emergence of military leadership, and how they altered the existing social hierarchy, as well as how kingship titles emerged.

Directions: Using your review sheet and textbook, select two options and type your answers (times new roman style, 12 point font, and double spaced) within 1 to 2 paragraphs.
Option 1: Describe in detail the emergence of Hobbits.
Option 2: During our class lectures, we discussed the shift from the foraging culture to agricultural settlements. Discuss the impact of selective breeding on settlements in detail.
Option 3: Discuss the impact of temples and town shrines on cities. Be sure to include the emergence of leadership and their impact on the city.
