You need not concern yourself with secondary literature, but if you consult any, full bibliographic citations are mandatory Throughout the Wealth of Nations, Smith argues that the system of perfect liberty secures the both the ethical and economic ideals of a liberal society, which we first explored in John Locke. Explain some of the central economic and ethical claims that are included in Smith’s understanding of the system of perfect liberty and how Smith brings them together in his work. Then, provide your own interpretation of how, or if, this system has the ability to secure itself freely as Smith understands it.
