User-Friendly" Websites

I am sure that everyone has heard the term "User-Friendly" used many times when referring to desktop applications, but that term can also apply to Web pages and Web Applications. I would like for everyone to discuss what the word "User-Friendly" means to you in terms of Websites and Web applications. It would be great if you would provide some links to some websites that you feel are well constructed and user-friendly. On that same note, it would also be nice to have you provide some examples of ones that you feel are not well constructed or user-friendly, and explain why. This should be a very valuable discussion, because the ideas and examples that get shared here, should all be things that you consider doing in the construction of your HTML pages throughout this class, and things that you can take with you after this class, should you decide to continue content for the Web.
