Your overview should contain basic information about the site including:
a) Its location and general environmental surroundings.
b)Basic site dates and the methods or approaches used to come up with them.
c)Who discovered the site and what kinds of excavations or research have been carried out there (this can be presented chronologically).
d)Basic archaeological contents of the site. This may include the major types of artifacts found, architectural features, or even environmental data that has been collected there.
e)What was the site used for and what was its basic function in its ancient society?
f)Are there any issues with the site being destroyed or damaged by modern human activities? Is the local government taking any measures to ensure that the site is protected for future generations?
g)How or why is this site significant to world prehistory, or the ancient history of the local area?
