Read “Managing People” on pages 657-659 of the text. This scenario discussed how Toyota has surpassed a number of U.S. automakers. Discuss how Toyota’s workforce has provided a competitive advantage. What are the major HR issues that Toyota will face in the future? Explain the challenges in overcoming a cultural barrier among staff drawn from different countries.
Using the article and the Discussion Board Rubric below, develop a well thought-out original response to the questions with a minimum of 350 words and referencing a minimum of two academic sources (outside of the textbook) to support your answer. Each peer response should be a minimum of 100 words.
