Now a days Information Technology and computers has a great impact on our community and this community has become more dependent on technology. and due to the dynamic changes in society we need to adopt with these changes. In this new age where computers are becoming inessential need of today, exchange the existing system obsolete procedure of carrying out business, it is only natural that the firms also turn to computerization that will make them more equipped to face challenges forced by today’s environment.
Information is the basis of an organization. Thus, it has to be made permanently available so that proper decision making can be guaranteed. our society became more dependents on Information technologies because it provides a clear shortcut., which it plays a main role in communication where people can communicate with each other in any corner of the globe in a few seconds.
Technologies such as internet decreases the man power, helps in reducing the unbearable world load of managing the dynamic increasing in the amount of information and also increases the capacity of the system and this is all by computerizing the system.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The major objective of our project is to create an online Book Store Website mainly for kids; this website enables the interface user to search, select and purchase books online, this idea came up to my attention in support of 2016 …. Reading year initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State.
What is special about this online book store? as now a days children are deeply affected by technology in several ways where they start using computer and know about internet since they start to realize the surrounding world, they using smart phones and know how to use the smart devices in fact better than their parents., today asking a child to go to the book store is extremely boring, therefore we thought of online books store which will be addressed to children where they can easily select and purchase books, buzzels or even Stickers in very smooth way, where they can register and be a member of our shop.
the user can easily order the book online by using his credit card rather than go out to the book store and waste time, in addition to that the user can read some allowed books online for free.An example of famous online Book-Stores are:Kido Online book store provides a user-friendly interface and perform necessary operations according to the user’s request.

EXISTING SYSTEM
In the existing system All the transactions are carried out face to face by going to the book store and purchase the books directly from the shop. It is a long time-transaction. The owner of the shop is operating the book store with the assist of a one system
In term of method of payment, after getting a book selected, the customer need to pay the bill by cash. And should wait his turn in long line front of the cashier, people usually heat to wait so how about the kids? In case the customer need a book and he can't access the store but only within the working hours, so he has to wait until the store is open.. When a customer came in need of a particular book, the owner should first of all search to make sure that the book is available or not. Then after he found the books he has to calculate the price by checking the details and to fill the receipt. The is time consuming process and the chance of error is high.
Limitations of the Existing System
Direct Transaction
All the transactions are done face to face. If a customer need to purchase a book he has to go to the shop and buy it.
Limitation of products
Some of children entertainment products not available such as rare education or stories books. The Book store doesn’t give priority for children.
Quiet Environment
Can’t control children within such an environment where people likes quite to concentrate on reading and searching.
Time limited access
The book shop could be accessed only in the working hours. The customer needs to wait for the shop to be open.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed system provides facilities to access the book system from anywhere in the world. The kid / customer can visit the site and buy the book based on their requirements. The main advantage of the system is that all transactions can be done through a joint network.
Kido book store is about an online web application which the customer can search the desirable book over a web browser by its title, then adding the book to the shopping cart and eventually purchase it using credit card transaction. Only the registered user has the permission to purchase books from Kido online book store. the user can log in to the site by using the username and password created during registration.
In order to purchase a book, the login process will as follow: the exist user can use his account details or create account for a new user login. name, phone number, shipping address, the way of payment and time of delivery are required. for the visitor he can visit the website, reading e-books for free but for any order, it is a must to register first.
Books will be organized in to categories depends on subjects such as Arabic, English (Magic, Fairy , puzzle and Adventure, in addition to that ,there will be product section where the child can purchase Stickers and coloring books.Our website has a section called “Activity” , where the child can upload his/her sketch in to a file in the website itself.(Upload file)
This book store website will be providing Children with fantastic online shopping journey over web browser. the Child can easily create new account, sign in, delete, edit his profile, place an order and edit it, purchase the item with his credit card details on secured way.
The administrator of the website eligible to add new books, remove books, update the book details (title, author, subject, date of publishing), book categories, information of the member and also confirm an order details. In order to perform its functions our project is divided into the following modules that perform specific functions.

ADMINISTRATION
Specific operations or functions will be provided to the administrator such as: add a book category or delete it, supervise and manage orders made by members, add or delete members, check credit card (add or delete), add new book or delete book.
USER REGISTRATION
When a new user enters the website and he /she would like to purchase a book he/she should have an account first. he/she can sign up to register by filling an online registration form.. If the user is already a registered member of the site, he can open his account by simply signing in.
BOOK DETAILS ENTRY
This module purposed to enter the complete details about a new book. These details include title, the author, the language, publication, price etc. The administrator performs the above functions. This module the standard for other modules.
VIEW BOOKS
The function of this module is to allow the user to view all the books available in the book store. The major goal of this module is to display the details about the stock details in the kido book store. In spite of a registered user as well as a new user could view the books, only the registered one is authorized to purchase a book from the book store.
SEARCH
Search module is the most important module of this project. It is assist the user in enabling him to search a particular book based on his/her preferences. The user can perform the searching process based on the title, author, language…etc.
ADVANCED SEARCH
The general search can only be processed based on a limited number of field. the advanced search has solved this problem. By Using advanced search, this will enable the user to have a variety of choices for execute the searching. This tool makes our project more attraction for the user that he/she can view a variety of books based on period of publication or even others options – under construction.

Ease of access of information: any book in the book store; the user can view its details where it can be viewed accessed by everyone. A large amount of information about a particular book can be viewed by a single click.
It will reduce the consumption of time: In the existing system the customer has to go to the shop and order the book by searching the whole stock. But by making it online the time for getting a book can be saved.
