And Here is my assignment.
Create a console app called BlackJack. Your program will be made up of the following classes:
The BlackJack.cs class that has your Main() method and that controls the game.
The Card.cs class that manages a single card.
The DeckOfCards.cs class that manages a deck of cards.
Your program will play a full game of Black Jack between a player and the house. Give the player the first two cards on a shuffled deck, and then show them the hand's value. Then use a loop to repeatedly ask the player if they want a "hit" (which means "another card"), until they say no, or until they get more than 21 points. You will show them the new card and the new hand value after every hit. If the player gets over 21 points, then end the game and print out "Player Busted! Dealer Wins!".
There is a FaceValue property to each card which contains the face value of that card. For Aces, theFaceValue property is equal to 1 point, but you should treat the value of an Ace as 11, unless doing so would make the hand's value go over 21. For example, if any hand consisted of just two aces, then one would be worth 11 points and the other would be worth 1 point.
If the player gets 21 with their first two cards, then they win and the game is over, and you should print out "Black Jack! Player Wins!".
However, if the game is not over after the player's turn is complete (meaning the player has declined any more hits), then continually add a card to the dealers hand in a loop until the dealer has the same amount of points as the player or more, or until the dealer gets over 21 points. If the dealer gets equal or more points than the player without going over 21, then the dealer wins. If the dealer goes over 21 points, then the dealer loses. Once the dealer's hand is determined, announce who won the game.
Here is a sample run:
Player's first two cards:
Ace of Spades
Three of Hearts
Player's hand value: 14
Would you like a hit? Yes
Player's next card:
Eight of Spades
