Challenges in Creating Committees
Committees have been determined as a necessary component to health care
organizations. As a manager, you have been tasked to set up a committee with
one of the hospital departments for the purpose of addressing recent patient
complaints. In a 3-5 page paper (excluding title and reference page) thoroughly
address the following topics:
• Describe the composition of your committee and discuss the influence your
committee members should have in the overall management structure.
• Explain how you would maintain authority within your committee structure
without adopting an autocratic leadership style.
• Describe how you would set up an Employee Team without violating union and
labors laws within your organization.
• Evaluate the advantages of committees for health care organizations.
• Include a minimum of 4-5 academic resources in APA format.
