Your professional challenge final project for this course will be an Information Technology (IT) Assessment involving a critical evaluation of the IT concepts and practices covered in this course. You will also investigate an organization with which you are familiar. This may be the organization within which you work.
The course paper should apply the concepts and practices covered in this course by analyzing the following in the chosen organization.
•The current state of the IT function.
•The role and impact of IT.
Your paper should conclude with recommendations for improvement. Your findings, conclusions, and recommendations must be grounded in the concepts and practices covered in this course.
Project Objectives
To successfully complete this project, you will be expected to:
1.Develop a plan to support the organization- current and emerging needs for information management and dissemination.
2.Choose and analyze an appropriate corresponding IT organizational model and characterize its suitability for executing its corporate mission.
3.Assess IT architectures to support your plan.
4.Evaluate the merits of a proposed IT solution to solve a particular organization- business challenges.

Project Requirements
To achieve a successful project experience and outcome, you are expected to meet the following requirements.
•Content: An IT assessment covering the project objectives for your chosen organization.
•Length of paper: 20-25 pages for body of the text, excluding a title or cover page, abstract, table of contents, tables, figures, appendix, and reference list.
•References: A minimum of 15 references to support your assessment, with all references listed being cited in the body of the text.
•Formatting: APA Style and Formatting guidelines (6th ed.) must be used for text citations, references, and references list. Double-space body text.
•Font size: 12-point.
