Applying Active Listening TedTalk Video:

You will research active listening skills and become experts on the topic. As an expert in active listening, you will then create your own “TedTalk” about some aspect of active listening.

Please do the following in your presentation:

·         Explain how to effectively use active listening skills and relate those skills to a specified area that impacts your future work (ie. Diffusing Conflict with Active Listening, How Active Listening Leads to Growth of Your Business, How Active Listening Can Improve Workplace Performance, Active Listening and the Effect on Strong Teams in the Workplace, Active Listening and Its Effect on Understanding Diversity, etc. These are only examples to get you thinking). ***Please do not simply present on active listening skills.

·         A TedTalk is a creative and powerful, but concise speaking engagement about “ideas worth spreading”. Your TedTalk should provide us with information about active listening and ideas about why it is such an important skill to develop. Be creative!
