PAD 330 Week 7 Discussion | Assignment Help | southern-new-hampshire-university
1 Discussion: Small Group Peer Review
This is a group
activity. For more information on groups, please see About Group Work.
In Project
Three: Sidewalk Funding, you will analyze the provided hypothetical case study
of Taggart County.
You will take the position of a local official (such as a budget analyst or
city manager). As this local official, you will communicate the priority of
replacing the sidewalks in the community and develop an outline of potential
funding sources (i.e., city, state, federal, and private funding sources).
Ultimately, you will present your project in the form of a PowerPoint
presentation to the county commission. This discussion will provide you with
the opportunity to gain feedback from your peers in both content and
presentation so that you can refine your project before submission in Module
Eight.
For this
assignment, you will provide feedback to your peers on the sidewalk funding project.
You will be assigned by your instructor to small groups. Your grade will be
based on the timeliness and quality of your initial post and the quality of the
feedback that you provide to your peers.
·
In your initial post, upload your draft
presentation. To accompany your draft, identify specific areas for feedback
from the critical elements of the project (i.e., Project Priority, Advocacy,
Funding Sources, Communication), including the following:
o One
area that you think is a strength
o Two
areas that you believe could be improved
·
Respond to at least two peers in your small group
by providing relevant feedback that directly addresses the areas indicated in
the initial post. Remember to include actionable and constructive suggestions
for improvement.
To complete this
assignment, review the Peer Review Guidelines and Rubric document.
For tips on how to effectively engage in the peer review process, see Peer Review Tips.
