For this assignment, you will use the same new project that is described in the Discussion Board for this week, which is the implementation of a new automated time tracking system for those with mobile phones.

Expand upon what you learned during the Discussion Board to list each stakeholder group with a list of both the pros and cons that are associated with that stakeholder. Next, you will develop a requirement that would help mitigate the cons (an example of this is all employees are given a mobile device). Thoroughly explain how the new requirement will eliminate the cons while not creating another disadvantage in the process.

List each stakeholder.
For each stakeholder, discuss the pros and cons for the new project.
Identify a mitigation requirement that would eliminate or reduce the cons (also include the possible financial impact).
Thoroughly explain how holding requirements sessions by using a force-field analysis approach can be useful for implementing change. Include an example of using force-field analysis for one of the cons identified in the previous step.

The discussion assignment for this week is to prepare communication on a new project that will be implemented within the organization that may positively or negatively impact each member of that organization. This project will be the implementation of a new time tracking system. If you have a mobile phone, then it will automatically scan every time you enter or leave the facility. Others will be required to manually enter their time when they arrive and leave. This is a project that will implement the new technology for tracking, but as a project manager, consider how you might engage the members of the organization (which are also known as your stakeholders) to get their input on how they see this change.
The following Discussion Board research will assist you. Research at least 2 sources (which may include your textbook) to support your response.
Primary Task Response: Within the Discussion Board area, craft a memo to engage the organization for input on this new mandatory project, and address these three questions. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and use examples to reinforce your ideas:
•	Identify all of the potential stakeholders’ roles in this organization and whether it might have a positive or negative impact.
•	Identify some of the possible pros and cons by putting yourself in the various roles.
•	Draft a memo that is positive to announce the new time tracking project, and solicit their input as part of the requirements gathering phase for this project.
