Recovery of Patient from Dementia
An 80-year-old female in the first stages of a slowly progressing form of dementia is seen in your practice. Write a short essay that discusses the following:
(1) What can be suggested in the form of stories, poetry, film, theatre, art, or music that could be used to stimulate reminiscence and memory retention for this patient?
(2) Brainstorm at least one specific example in three different categories (art, music, etc.).
Use standard essay format in APA style, including an introduction, a conclusion, and a title page. An abstract is not required. Cite in-text and in the References section.
