Organizational Culture is often Discussed from a Corporate Perspective However, complexity and size of many health care organizations have resulted in single departments developing their own culture. This is the case with Jones Memorial. This subject was raised at the monthly senior managers’ meeting for Jones Memorial. You expressed concerns that cultural issues may cause problems with the formation of Jones Pediatric Services. Now, you and several other staff have been tasked with developing a presentation on the subject and providing guidance to senior management on managing the cultural integration of the departments that will come together to form JPS. Group Portion: Review each others’ work and do the following to finalize your presentation: Come to a consensus on the last section. Would your group recommend integrating cultures or building a new one? Why? What actions would be involved for your agreed-upon option? Develop introductory and summary slides and blend all individual contributions so the result is a seamless group presentation (7 - 10 PowerPoint slides with speaker notes, excluding the title, introduction, and reference slides). Remember to put participating group members’ names on the title slide.
