1 Write a response of 2-4 pages to the following questions. Your answer should be organized, grammatical, and citing the textbook AND two outside references in correct APA format. There should be notes within the body of your paper and a reference page following your written pages (see APA Guidelines available to you in Doc Sharing, in the Webliography, and/or try to use Smarthinking, a great new resource at Strayer!). Submit as a Word Document in 12 point font to the Dropbox by midnight at the end of Week #4. 1. Give two (2) examples of problems which could happen when transporting: A. Perishable Foods B. Hazardous Materials AND C. Large Industrial Equipment You may include ANY KINDS OF ISSUES you learn about in the first four chapters of the textbook, such as those caused by information system technology, supply chain management, centralized or decentralized supply structure, rush orders, preparation of purchase orders, expediting, OR issues you have learned about from outside research. 2. Discuss preventative steps you would take to avoid each of the six problems you identify. Cite where you find ideas to enrich your discussion of solutions with at least two outside references in addition to the textbook. 3. Discuss remedies you would take should the problems occur despite your best efforts to avoid them.
