INSTRUCTIONS

1.	Read and select one of the ’Cross-Cultural Scenarios’ at the end of Chapters 1, 3, or 4 in The Cultural Dimension of Global Business.
2.	In the Linguistic Communication discussion forum, respond to the following:
a.	Post the scenario you have selected.  You may not select a scenario that another student has already posted.
b.	What went wrong?
c.	What could prevent the situation from happening?
d.	Who has the responsibility for preparing employees for global business dealings?  Why?
3.	Your initial post is due by the end of the fourth day of the workshop.
4.	Read and respond to at least two of your classmates’ postings, as well as all follow-up instructor questions directed to you, by the end of the workshop.
5.	Your postings should also:
a.	Be well developed by providing clear answers with evidence of critical thinking.
b.	Add greater depth to the discussion by introducing new ideas and observations.
c.	Provide clarification to classmates’ questions and provide insight into the discussion.
d.	Be posted on three different days during the workshop.
