PS 512 WEEK 9 Designing Your Own Single Subject Study
For your Final Project, you will design a hypothetical study using one of the single subject methods that you learned about in this course. In your write up, be sure to include the following (see the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association for more specific details about what to include in each section):
•	Cover Page
•	Abstract
•	Brief Introduction (research questions, hypotheses, etc.)
•	Method (including: participants; sampling procedures; sample size; target behavior; research design; ethical, legal, and sociocultural concerns; experimental manipulations or interventions; method of recording behaviors; reliability and validity of your measures)
•	Results (provide mock data here), statistical analyses, visual displays
•	Discussion (including: the meaning and implications of the study; limitations; internal validity of the study and threats thereto; external validity of the study social validity of the study; suggestions for future research)
•	References
In your method section include a rationale as to why the single subject method which you selected is the best option given your research questions and hypotheses, and how your chosen method is superior to the other methods that you learned about in this class (withdrawal designs, multiple baseline designs, changing criteria designs, or alternating treatment designs).
Be sure to use proper APA style throughout, with a minimum of 10-15 pages total. 
The paper should:
•	Follow assignment directions (review grading rubric for best results).
•	Use correct APA formatting per the APA Publication Manual, 6th Edition.
•	Demonstrate college-level communication through the composition of original materials in Standard American English.
•	Be written in Standard American English and be clear, specific, and error-free. If needed, be sure to use the Kaplan University Writing Center for help.
Your Final Project will be due at the end of Unit 9
