1.	Note: Two part question:
What are the similarities and differences between promotional push strategies and promotional pull strategies? What is an example of a situation in which an organization would use a push strategy? What is an example of a situation in which an organization would use a pull strategy? 

Within your organization, what element of the promotional mix* is used least? How could the use of this element be increased to create a more favorable promotional mix? What would you recommend, and why?

*The promotional mix is different than a push/pull strategy. Be sure that you understand the components a promotional mix before responding to this portion of the question.
2.	a.  Select a television, print, billboard, or radio commercial that you can recall within 30 seconds. Describe the ad, identify the target audience and key message(s), and state why you find the ad either effective or non-effective. Be sure to fully explain your rationale for your response. What does the term noise mean in marketing? With so much advertising noise in the marketplace, how can a company ensure its message is heard?
