Biodiversity and Conservation Biology Questions:  This assignment should not be in the form of a paper but please include a standard APA introduction page. A Certificate of Originality is not required with New Classroom.

Answer each of the questions below using approximately 150-300 words.  Include the question at the beginning of your response and include at least one in-text citation in each response.   Cited material for the assignment as a whole must come from your textbook and at least one other source and all cited material should be listed on an APA reference page at the end of the assignment.    The reference page should have a minimum of two references.

Address the following items and include the question at the beginning of your response:

    Provide a detailed definition/description of conservation biology.
    Provide a detailed definition/description and example of ecosystem diversity.
    What is a species?  Provide a detailed definition.  Compare what is meant by a threatened species, an endangered species, and an extinct species and provide an example of each.
